Ken Parrett

Ken Parrett _ Kapstone ManagementServed 22 years in the Army, retiring in 1997 at the rank of First Sergeant, the second highest enlisted rank a soldier can attain. Transitioned into the private sector and spent the next 10 years as a successful Chamber of Commerce Executive, working with entrepreneurs, and counseling potential entrepreneurs, on ways to assist them with their business growth. During his time as a Chamber of Commerce Executive his strengths were his ability to increase participation from the membership and recruit and retain members. He was able to help grow one chamber by 241 members in seven years, and another by 135 members in two years, with at least a 90% retention rate in each.
 
Founded Kapstone Consulting in 2002 on a part time basis and incorporated the business in 2007 as Kapstone Management Services, Inc. The company provides Training, Facilitation Services, and develops Business and Marketing Plans for potential business owners. Ken has a remarkable 100% success rate with potential businesses trying to secure funding by means of their written plan.
 
Ken is a graduate of the Dale Carnegie® Training Course, has a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration, a Master of Arts Degree in Public Administration, and teaches MBA level courses in Business Plan Writing, Organizational Behavior, and Entrepreneurship. He also trains potential business owners through the Ewing Kaufmann First Step FastTrac® Program, a program where the participants are taught how to write a Feasibility Plan for their business idea.
